JSC “Siberian Anthracite” (the “Company”) is a leader in the Russian Ultra High Grade (UHG) anthracite market with over 30 years experience of mine developing and exploration. The Company extracts, washes and sells unique coal from company’s deposits in the West-Siberian region of Russia.

The Company possesses considerable reserves of UHG anthracite, a product used for high quality processes that produces the minimum level of noxious substances during combustion.

Business assets are situated in the Iskitimsky district, Novosibirsk region. Mining is carried out in Gorlovsky coal basin mines. The Company is the only coal producer in the Novosibirsk region.

In September 2006, the Company launched a large scale seven-year three phase investment program. The first investment phase amounts to over 3 billion rubles of investment. At the moment, the Company’s facilities allow for production of 3 million tons of anthracite per year, but with realization of the investment program the facilities will allow for production of 10 million tons of washed anthracite per year.
