Bashkir Industrial Holding LLC has acquired production units of the coal mining company, Sibanthracite Group. The Holding is a long-term strategic investor with a strong interest in intensive development of Sibanthracite Group. The Group will continue to be led by its management team under CEO Sergey Melnikov.

Sibanthracite is committed to maintaining the high standards of product quality and service to customers, for which it is already known.

Sibanthracite Group is the world's largest producer and exporter of Ultra High Grade Anthracite, as well as other metallurgical coals and PCI. Total output in 2022 was 24.55 million tons. The Group includes leading coal companies in Novosibirsk Region (Kolyvansky Open-Pit Mine and Vostochny Open-Pit Mine, both producing anthracite), as well as major coal producers in Kemerovo Region (Verkhneteshsky Open-Pit Mine). In 2023, licenses were acquired for two more sites in Kemerovo: Kuznetskiy Yuzhny Open-Pit Mine and Malinovsky Open-Pit Mine.
