30 August 2012, Novosibirsk. Siberian Anthracite, one of the world’s largest producers of Ultra High Grade (UHG) anthracite has celebrated Miner’s Day in Listvyansky township. Siberian Anthracite — the largest coal company of Novosibirsk region – has marked Miners’ Day with production achievements, holiday activities, rewarding the best employees. Big celebrations were organized for Siberian Anthracite workers and all Listvyansky citizens. From the beginning of 2012 Siberian Anthracite has produced more than 2.5 million tons of coal by the 65th anniversary of the Miner’s Day. This is by 500 000 tons more than at the same period of the previous year. Increasing output is a result of the investment program for the development of productive capacities «Siberian Anthracite» to 9.5 million tonnes by the end of 2016. Achieving ambitious goals is possible only with the involvement of each employee. The best workers of Siberian Anthracite got Miner’s Glory awards and diplomas during the celebration. Miner’s Day is one of the main holidays for Listvyansky township in Novosibirsk region. Every year this day Siberian Anthracite organizes concerts, honoring of the veterans of production, children’s competitions and photo exhibitions.
