On 28 September 2012 Novosibirsk Region celebrated its 75th anniversary. Staff of Siberian Anthracite, the largest coal company of the region, took part in the festive parade in Novosibirsk city. The parade was attended by representatives of each district of the region – heads of district, deputies, employees of the most important enterprises, honored residents — agricultural, social services, culture and sport workers. Twenty employees of Siberian Anthracite represented Iskitimsky District. The participants of the parade were welcomed by Governor Vasily Yurchenko. The procession was attended by about 10 thousand delegates. Novosibirsk region was formed on September 28, 1937 by division of the West Siberian region on Novosibirsk region and Altai Territory.
