December 10, 2012, Novosibirsk. «Siberian Anthracite» — one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high quality Ultra High Grade (UHG) anthracite, reports about continuing mining equipment modernization programme.

During the autumn 2012 the Company received the following equipment units:

• 1 excavator Hyundai R520,
• 2 front loaders Hyundai HL-780,
• 2 front loaders Hyundai HL-770,
• 1 mini loader Hyundai HSL-650,
• 1 tyre handler for 220-ton BelAZ based Hyundai HL-770,
• 1 Grader John Deere 872G,
• 1 vibratory roller AMMAN ASC250HD,
• 2 combined road machines,
• 1 mobile canteen on KAMAZ-43118.

These purchases made in the framework of the investment project of the creating and development of mining and processing complex for production of anthracite UHG in Novosibirsk region.

About Siberian Anthracite

Siberian Anthracite is one of the world’s largest producers of ultra high grade (UHG) anthracite. The company carries out open-pit mining at deposits in the Gorlovsky coal basin in the Novosibirsk region of western Siberia. In late 2006 Siberian Anthracite launched a  10-year investment programme to create a world-leading UHG anthracite mining and processing facility with capacity of 9.5 million tons. To date, the company has upgraded and constructed the new extraction, processing and transport infrastructure, has organized more than 1000 working positions. Its fleet of mining equipment and machinery substantially overhauled and expanded. Run-of-mine anthracite volumes have grown by 3.5 times in 4 years.
