Sibanthracite Group’s enterprises are introducing nine state-of-the-art ESMO electronic medical examination systems. Three terminals have already been put into operation at Vostochny Open Pit Mine, while six more will soon be launched at Kuznetsky Yuzhny and Verkhneteshsky Open Pit Mines, as well as at Sibanthracite Mining. The electronic medical examination system is a key component in the company’s integrated automated occupational health and industrial safety system.
At Vostochny Open Pit Mine in the Novosibirsk Region, two new terminals have been installed in the medical office of the administrative-service complex at the Kolyvanskaya station, and one more at the open-pit operations site. At Kuznetsky Yuzhny and Verkhneteshsky in the Kemerovo Region, four additional terminals are being mounted and tested in one of the modular camp buildings near the mining areas.
The new equipment makes it possible to carry out comprehensive pre-shift health checks automatically. In just one minute, the system precisely measures key vital signs such as body temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, and also performs an alcohol screening. The results are processed instantly, allowing rapid decisions on whether an employee is fit to begin work. The system also assesses workers’ condition after the end of their shift.
Automation of the medical screening process significantly improves the efficiency of health monitoring and helps minimize occupational risks.
A pilot project to equip the company’s enterprises with electronic examination units was launched in 2019. To date, 26 ESMO complexes have been implemented in Sibanthracite Group operations.
