Sibanthracite Launches New Educational Program

The Sibanthracite Group, in partnership with the Linevo Industrial College, has launched a new educational program in the Novosibirsk Region to train specialists in mineral processing. This is the first time such training has been offered in the region. The first group of 25 students has already begun their studies.

The initiative to launch the “Mineral Processing” program came from the Listvyansky Processing Plant (part of the Sibanthracite Group). The program lasts three years and ten months, during which students will not only qualify as mid-level specialists but also master several related trades, such as coal processing operator, filter operator, and control panel operator.

For the entire duration of their studies, Listvyansky Processing Plant will sign targeted training contracts with the students, guaranteeing them additional scholarship payments and employment at the enterprise upon graduation.

The successful launch of the project followed a year of close collaboration between the college and the enterprise, during which a modern, industry-standard curriculum was developed. The college obtained a license to provide educational services in the new field, while the company equipped its technological laboratory with 12 new computer workstations, where students will conduct research and experiments on various mineral processing methods.

“Launching our educational initiative is an important step in strengthening the company’s human capital,” said Liliya Yemelyanova, Director of Human Resources at Listvyansky Processing Plant. “We are creating the conditions for training highly qualified professionals who will drive the industry forward and ensure its technological future.”

The Sibanthracite Group plans to further expand its educational initiatives by introducing new learning technologies and broadening the range of specializations offered. In the near future, the company intends to launch another program in Mining Engineering.
